Is a Domain Name included?

No, the domain name is your responsibility.  If you are unfamiliar with purchasing domain names, our support staff will be happy to walk you through the process.  While we don’t officially recommend a specific domain registration site, we do frequently work with www.godaddy.com, www.register.com, and www.dotster.com.  Your domain name should only cost about $9/year regardless of which site you use.  Make sure you don’t include any additional services from these companies as we already provide most of those services in your monthly fee.  Your domain name will always be under your control and will not be transferred to us in any way. You will need to make one minor change to your domain name account in order for your website to become live. We will be more than happy to walk you through that process.

What about Email?

Your WebRight account will come with 5 email boxes with a size limit of 1GB. Additional blocks of 5 email addresses are available for $6. Email accounts that forward to other email addresses (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc.) are free. Email hosting is provided by Fusemail, and includes spam filtering and virus checking. Email accounts can be set up as either POP accounts, or can be synchronized as IMAP accounts.

Email technical support is available 24/7 via a support ticket system after logging in at webmail.bbpinc.com. Phone support is available during business hours M-F and limited hours on Saturday.

How customizable is my WebRight website?

You can customize the site as much or as little as you want! The basic layout is customized with your logo, colors, and images. We provide a basic sitemap layout providing you with all the pages you'll need to get going. After personalizing a couple of pages, your site will be ready to go. If you prefer a more hands-on approach, we give you the ability to modify every page of the site:

• Create new pages with our easy to use page generator. Mix and match preset templates to create your own pages
• delete pages
• drag and drop pages to different sections, or within a section
• add your own articles
• choose which sidebar items display on the left side of the screen
• upload your own images and documents

You will have access to the WebRight website manager, and you will be able to modify your website at any time.

Do you do any Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

There are three ways to increase your Search Engine standings:

1. Amount of time your domain has been active
2. Links to and from your site. Get your website listed every reputable place you can: chambers of commerce, local paper websites, associations, etc. Make sure you also have a healthy number of links leading off your website.
3. Text on your site. Make a list of search terms, and make sure they appear within the text you input on your website. Avoid just listing out the terms as the Search Engine robots will view this as spam.

Our WebRight sites are designed to be as search-engine friendly as required by today's web standards. We do not do anything with pay-per-click advertising, but you are free to do that sort of advertising if you choose.
